Jamie’s photoshoot at the Chicago Boudoir Photography studio

“Why did I wait 10 years to do this?”

When Jamie first walked into the studio, I just knew that we were going to have a fun time in the studio. Jamie has a gorgeous smile and was ready for a party at the studio!

Jamie had thought about doing a boudoir photo shoot for YEARS, but had never done it. She wanted to feel confident and empowered and also wanted to create a fun gift for her husband. She was so happy to have the boudoir experience and to finally cross this item off her bucket list!

Check out what she had to say about her photo shoot:

Ten years.

It took me ten years to do this as a birthday gift for my husband.

It was always, “My hair isn’t long enough” or “I want to lose five pounds.” Or mostly because I am very, very awkward in front of the camera. It was excuse after excuse.

And after finally doing the photoshoot, I’m like “Why on earth did I wait so long?” It was, hands-down one of the coolest, most amazing experiences of my life!

I was very nervous walking into the studio.  I’m not going to lie.  I was super, super, SUPER nervous!

But the minute I stepped foot in the studio, Liz just sprinkled her magic and was like, “All right girl, let’s go! You’re going to do this, you’re going to rock it. You’re going to own it and you’re going to be amazing!”

And yeah, I WAS amazing!

I got my hair done, I got my makeup done, I felt like a million dollars! There are no other words other than that I felt and looked like a million dollars.

To say that this was a birthday present for my hubby makes me laugh because I felt like the day was all about ME! It was really cool!

Thank you, Liz! For a day of empowerment, beauty and confidence. I want to do it again! I can’t wait to do it again! Thank you so much!

I love that she brought some fun baseball items to customize her shoot since her husband is a baseball player. Here are some of Jamie’s favorite images from her boudoir photo shoot:

You totally rocked your shoot, Jamie! Thanks so much for coming into the studio! Can’t wait to have you in for your next shoot. xo Liz
